The Alp Mate Mid is developed for mountain enthusiasts looking for a reliable and comfortable mid-cut hiking and backpacking. It has a high-quality suede upper backed with a waterproof, breathable membrane that keeps the weather out and is fast drying. For additional breathabilty, the tongue and ankle inserts are constructed using a robust mesh fabric. And the rubber toe cap and heel stabilizer provide additional protection and stability for your feet.

Built for comfort
This boot is built to provide comfort for hiking activities and features the SALEWA® 3F System for flexibility, heel support and a stable, protective fit. Inside, the durable EVA midsole enables a soft landing and superior shock absorption even on rugged ground. In addition, the climbing lacing and adaptive eyelets adjust easily to give greater precision in technical terrain.

Hiking-specific outsole
Underfoot, the hiking-specific POMOCA® outsole has a lug pattern studied to give stability, grip and traction, and to support natural movement both on and off the trail.
