In addition to its exceptional lightness, the light ALPINE PRO W Trail Running Shoe also promises women trail runners good comfort, versatility, and protection over middle and long distances. The dual-density compression-molded EVA midsole enhances running dynamics and also ensures a smooth roll-through from heel to toe. The drop is 8 mm, thus ensuring good support over middle to long distances and on demanding, varied terrain. For additional protection on rocky surfaces, the shoe has a carbon plate integrated between the mid- and outsole to protect the bottom of feet. The Carbon Shield protects and also contributes to the responsiveness and long-lasting durability of the shoe. The new Rubber Tension feature -- a diagonal reinforcement at the heel -- lends an even higher precision support. The VIBRAM® MEGAGRIP sole guarantees the best grip on alpine terrain in both wet and dry weather.
